What is Sibling Care?

    Sometimes we find ourselves getting ready to welcome a new little one to our family and we realize that we don't have anyone to watch our other children.  Maybe your support network lives far away?  So, what are you going to do with your other child or children?  

    It can be very hard to find someone who's willing to take care of your little one(s) at the drop of a hat or in the middle of the night, and that's where Sibling Care comes in.  As a doula I'm used to being on call and ready to go in the middle of the night, this means that in some of my quiet months I take on Sibling Care clients.  Please contact me for availability or if you have any questions.

What does Sibling Care look like and cost?

    The initial consultation is free, this allows me to meet your little one(s) and your family.

     I Like to keep it simple; I charge $400 for the first 8 hours and then $25/each additional hour.*

     Included in that cost:

·         1-2 visits with your family and child/children before 36 weeks.

·         On call from 36 weeks on until baby is born.

·         Once you’re in labour I can join your little one(s) at the time and location of your choosing.  I can care for your child in your home or at the hospital. If your labour goes over 8 hours, then each additional hour is $25 and payment is due within 24 hours of the birth.

*Additional charges may exist for large families.
